Devoted, Passionate, Intense, Perfectionist. Most people in Surf Culture knew that these characteristics describe Flame and his photography well.  What his family and his friends understand is that this also describes Larry in all aspects of his life.

Each year, the board of FTLF will announce the amount of money available, make a call for entries, and make an application and application guidelines available. Applications will be due late spring, and will be reviewed by an advisory panel. Recipients will be announced during The Hurley US Open of Surfing. The Grant will be awarded at the Annual FTLF Event at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, Ca.
